Welcome to Yoga and Pilates classes in Manchester, Eccles and Monton. I am a qualified and insured Yoga and Pilates teacher (incl. pre and post natal and baby Yoga). I teach a variety of Yoga styles from dynamic flow using breath and posture work, to Yin Yoga as well as Pilates. Classes are for all bodies and any body - if you are pregnant please contact me first.

Yin Yoga is a wonderful form of Yoga combing breath practices (Pranayama), Meditation, Posture work and Relaxation to find stillness in the physical body and peace in the mind. This class is suitable for all including pre and post natal.
A wonderful, nurturing and supported class class for parent and babies (6 weeks to crawling). This class will allow parent to work with Yoga and Pilates post natal techniques to gain tone and strength in the core, pelvic floor, hips and back. We will also also play with breath and sound to calm babies and soothe parent's minds, lots of parent and baby time with action songs, and rhymes and a relaxed atmosphere so parent can take time out to feed/change baby without feeling the need to leave the class. A lovely opportunity to meet other parents and babies and feel supported to allow parent to nurture themselves and provide quality time to connect with baby and make new friends.
Small, friendly classes combining Pilates techniques to strengthen and stabilise the spine, hips and pelvis; Yoga to aid in breath and relaxation/visualisation. Plenty of opportunity to discuss with other mums to be stages of pre and post pregnancy and plenty of birth preparation tecniques offered to ensure an enjoyable and safe pregnancy and post natal. Yoga and Pilates will aid in raising energy levels, aids in sleep and works on all aspects of the body from physical to emotionally nurturing techniques for pregnancy, birth and beyond.
A wonderful opportunity for you and your birth partner to work with Pilates and Yoga principles so that you can both learn a variety of practical skills from effective birth positions/breath and relaxation techniques/how to keep the back and pelvic girdle strong and supported, massage techniques and how your partner can support and assist you, optimal foetal positioning for birth.
Join Maggie (Haybergill Centre) and Sadhana (Sadhana Yoga/Pilates) for our Spring Retreat. Classes take place in the purpose built studio overloooking the gardens where rabbits, woodpeckers and red squirrels come to feed. We have morning Yoga, breath practices and cleansing sessions, Pilates and core stability late afternoon ending the day with guided relaxations, stilling Yin Yoga and meditation sessions. There's also the chance to learn how to cook healthy, tasty treats such as breads, sweet treats and delicious foods from the Haybergill's very own recipe book.
Guided walks are available to explore the beautiful Upper Eden Valley in Cumbria. For any tired legs, unwind in the separate chalet and treat yourself to a hot stone masage, hopi ear candles, reflexology or take a warm breath in the Centres sauna.
You can take part in as many or as few sessions as you wish, some come for the Yoga and cooking others for Pilates , its your retreat your choice.
Sadhana's upbringing and Bangladeshi background has given her the opportunity to practice Yoga in all forms. This philosophy is reflected in her classes from sharing the joys of breath and meditation to philosophy and study (Jnana Yoga). Her love of Anatomy and mechanics of the body is evident in her Pilates classes and Yogasana from dynamic to stilling Yin Yoga. Sadhana's classes ensure that all people are able to take part in the sessions and enjoy the true beauty and joy of the practice of Yoga and Pilates. She is a qualified with the British Wheel Yoga, Yin and Mindfulness Meditation and a qualified Pilates Instructor.

Since the start of Sadhana Yoga we have held annual Charity Yoga Days to raise money for different causes. Since 2007 thanks to your generosity and kindness we have raised over £5300 to raise funds for the Renal Unit at Hope Hospital (2007) and the British Heart Foundation (2008), and last year to Menieres Society.
This year we raised funds for for Salford Autism Support Group SAFA
It was a wonderful day (24th September 2011) and a huge thank you to the cake bakers, face painters, raffle prize donaters, volunteers, Henna Artist Rina, My wonderful mum for her delicous samosas and all the Yogis who bravely took part in completing 108 sun salutations. We raised a massive £1273. Thank you all so much for your kindness
Yoga is much more than the breath and body (Hatha Yoga principles) - Charity Yoga days are another form of Yoga; Karma Yoga - which aim to help others with no expectation of reward.
