I am a qualified and insured Yoga and Pilates teacher (incl. pre and post pregnancy). I teach a variety of Yoga styles from dynamic flow using breath and posture work, to Yin Yoga as well as Pilates. Classes are for all bodies and any body - if you are pregnant please contact me first.

Curry Night - 4th Feb.

Join us for our monthly Curry Night on Thurs. 4th Feb. We will be at The Bluebell Pub, Monton from 8.15pm and then for a curry from 9pm at the Rani/Leena (formerly known as The Naz), on Monton Rd. See you there.

Yin Yoga 5 Feb.

Yin Yoga held at the Quaker Meeting House, Wellington Rd Eccles combines long held postures, with breath practices (pranayama) and meditation to find stillness in the physical body and peace in the mind. This class is suitable for all, and is particularly beneficial for anyone with injuries and ailments, stiffness in the hips and spine and pre and post pregnancy.

Cooking, Yoga & Pilates Retreats

Join Maggie (Haybergill Centre) and Sadhana (Sadhana Yoga/Pilates) for a wonderful Wellbeing Weekend. We will offer sessions on how to cook healthy, organic, locally sourced and produced vegetarian foods, as well as Yoga (from dynamic flow, Yin & Hatha Yoga), Pilates, Meditations, Relaxation, Pranayama (breath practices), massage, sauna, walks and talks.

Cooking – learn from a qualified Chef how to produce healthy, tasty food – recipes are all creative yet easy to make so no experience needed. Sessions will include how to produce a range of home made breads, variety of summer salads and great home grown and locally produced dishes (July) and Christmas treats (Dec.) not forgetting delicious healthy puddings. The food at Haybergill Centre is so popular that they have produced their own cook book. (all bellies catered for – vegan, gluten/nut free etc) which forms the basis for the cookery sessions.

Yoga/Pilates – qualified British Wheel Yoga Teacher, Yin and Mindfulness Meditation and Pilates with several years experience, Sadhana’s classes ensure that all people are able to take part in the sessions and enjoy the true beauty and joy of the practice of Yoga and Pilates. Pilates also include correct posture and and spinal alignment.

Charity Yoga Days

Thank you to all the wonderful Yogis especially the wonderful children who came along to this years Charity Yoga Day which took place on 21st Nov. Thank you to all the cake bakers, my mum and sister for their delightful samosas, raffle prize donaters and especially to the Yogis who took part on 108 sponsored sun salutations.

Donations this year will be to the Menieres Society whose help and support have helped my mum cope with this illness.

Since 2007, we have thanks to your generosity and kindness we have raised over £4000 to raise funds for the Renal Unit at Hope Hospital (2007) and the British Heart Foundation (2008).

Yoga is much more than the breath and body (Hatha Yoga principles) - Charity Yoga days are another form of Yoga; Karma Yoga - which aim to help others with no expectation of reward.
