Classes are taught in a safe, controlled and enjoyable environment making them suitable and accessible for everyone. There are no levels to the classes as each person is taught to listen to their own bodies, being mindful and only going to whatever level the body wants to go to on that particular day.

Yin Yoga is a wonderful form of stillness yoga combing breath practices (Pranayama), meditation, passive posture work using supports such as cushions and blankets to find stillness in the physical body and peace in the mind. This class is suitable for all, and is particularly beneficial for anyone with injuries and ailments, stiffness in the hips and spine and pregnant women.
Meditation allows us to bring a sense of calm and acceptance to the Self. The guided meditations are suitable for all and are non demominational. Small groups inviting opportunity for discussion and support.
Small, friendly classes combining Pilates techniques to strengthen and stabilise the spine, hips and pelvis; Yoga to aid in breath and relaxation/visualisation. Plenty of opportunity to discuss with other mums to be stages of pre and post pregnancy and plenty of birth preparation tecniques offered to ensure an enjoyable and safe pregnancy and post natal. Yoga and Pilates will aid in raising energy levels, aids in sleep and works on all aspects of the body from physical to emotionally nurturing techniques for pregnancy, birth and beyond.
A wonderful opportunity for you and your birth partner to work with Pilates and Yoga principles so that you can both learn a variety of practical skills from effective birth positions/breath and relaxation techniques/how to keep the back and pelvic girdle strong and supported, massage techniques and how your partner can support and assist you, optimal foetal positioning for birth.
Join us for our monthly Yin and Yang Yoga class; a wonderful afternoon of breathing, relaxation, Yogasana (postures) and much more. This popular monthly class is for all and explores flowing postures (Yang Yoga) and stilling postures (Yin Yoga) with breath practices and meditation to gain a deeper and richer understanding of the practices and beauty of Yoga.

If you cannot attend classes or wish to have Yoga or Pilates classes tailored to suit your body and your particular needs, please email me sadhana@sadhanayoga.co.uk . Classes can be either in my house (M30) or at your chosen venue (travel charge may be incurred).
Yoga classes can be dynamic flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa based, Yin Yoga or gentle Hatha Yoga aswell as pre and post natal classes in Yoga and Pilates. Specific Pilates based classes are also available and can be tailored to suit your body type focusing on any particular problem areas such as back problems, kneee/hip issues or other ailments.
Students I have worked with include posture re-alignment and strengthening for variety of spinal ailments including spondylosis, working with visually impaired and deaf, pre and post natal including SPD, people suffering from ME and MS, helping people dealing with cancer, working with stroke and heart disease, emphysema management, renal dialysis patients and working with students suffering with athritis - all these students I will vary their practice with Yoga, Pilates, breath work, meditation and relaxation (class will change depending on how the students are feeling emotionally aswell as physically).
